The Salt: Andes Lake Sea Salt
The primary exfoliant is sea salt from a high-altitude Andean lake at 3,700m elevation — naturally high in minerals. As the salt granules dissolve during the massage, they release minerals into the scalp while physically sloughing away dead skin cells. The result is a scrub that exfoliates and nourishes simultaneously, without harsh or synthetic abrasives.
Rosemary: The Core Active
Rosemary has a naturally warming quality that softens and loosens dead skin cells on contact, making them easier to remove during massaging and rinsing. Its antioxidant activity — confirmed across multiple concentration levels (12.5%, 25%, 50%, 100%) in DPPH radical scavenging tests — helps restore vitality to a stressed or sluggish scalp.
- Rosemary Leaf Oil (4,630ppm) — essential oil extracted by steam distillation; delivers active aromatic and antioxidant compounds directly to the scalp
- Rosemary Leaf Extract (42ppm) — extracted via decoction at low temperature to preserve active compounds; supports scalp vitality and hair root nourishment
BHA (Salicylic Acid)
Oil-soluble beta hydroxy acid that penetrates into follicle openings to dissolve sebum-based residue and clogged pore debris that physical exfoliants alone cannot reach.
